Structural Analysis Project: Bridge Design

At the University of Edinburgh, I used Oasy's GSA (General Structural Analysis) software to implement a bridge design.

Digital Twin Fabrication of Harper's Office Space
May 2023 - September 2023

For my summer intern project, I worked to develop a digital twin of Harper's office space. Our goal was to integrate data into our model, improve asset management, and optimize office space.

Pontiac Elementary School Renovation
June 2023 - September 2023

This Harper GC project was one of the first responsibilities I had during my summer internship. I was tasked with model coordination, plumbing detailing, and laser scan integration to support our project team.

A City and its River Research Team
August 2022 - May 2023

I was part of the Bernhardt Lab at Duke University, where we studied contamination in Durham's Ellerbe Creek and the subsequent effects on marine life.

Vibrating Pendulum Lab: EGR244
March 2023 - April 2023

Part of my engineering dynamics class, I ran an experiment on a vibrating pendulum and wrote an in-depth lab report summarizing the theoretical equations and the experimental processes that take place.

Consul for Duquesne Light Company
August 2022 - December 2022

This Duke Energy Club project team worked to provide consul to Duquesne Light Company on what to do with their legacy ash sites and coal mines.

Icosahedron Structure
May 2022

To expand on our knowledge of tensegrity, we constructed an icosahedron using 16 foot slabs of wood and rope.

Projecting the Duke Physics Building into AutoCAD
February 2022 - May 2022

As an introduction to the AutoCAD software, we were tasked with surveying the Duke Physics Building and using this data to develop a 2D model of the building in AutoCAD.

Designing my Dream Home
March 2022

In my introductory civil engineering class, we were given a basic introduction to Revit, then given the assignment of designing our dream home.

Motorized Trash Bin Dolly
August 2021 - December 2021

As part of my first engineering class at Duke, I was tasked with developing a device that would carry trash bins up steep driveways, intended for elderly use in Chapel Hill.

Algae Window
September 2021 - December 2021

Drawing inspiration from the B.I.Q. house in Hamburg, our Duke Conservation Technology team designed a window that would control the amount of penetrating light by changing algae concentration.

Handwashing Timer
September 2021

A two-week design sprint, I developed a handwashing timer using a breakbeam sensor and several 3D printed parts.

Community-Based Social Marketing Proposal Against Duke Energy
October 2021 - December 2021

As part of my environmental policy class, I developed a community-based social marketing proposal to restructure the energy market in North and South Carolina.

Envirothon Oral Scenario
May 2021

As part of the 2021 NCF Envirothon Competition, we were given a scenario on nitrate contamination in the Ogalla Aquifer and tasked with developing a remidiation plan. As the South Carolina captain, I helped our team to a 3rd place finish.
